This paper represents an effort to extract the information pertinent to projection of depot maintenance cost on new or proposed aircraft from the available cost history of the Air Force fleet. Regression analysis was employed to develop Cost Estimating Relationships (CER's) which relate depot maintenance cost and aircraft physical/performance characteristics. The resulting CER's are intended as an aid to cost analysts attempting to estimate depot maintenance cost early in the procurement cycle of proposed aircraft. (Author)
