Penn + Schoen Associates has been commissioned by the Federal Highway Administration to conduct a study entitled User Acceptance of Commercial Vehicle Operations (CVO) Services. The purpose of this study is to identify and evaluate critical issues relating to user acceptance of CVO services by interstate truck and bus drivers and to identify the CVO information needs of other interested parties. The following six CVO Services were tested among the respondents: - Commercial Fleet Management (CFM) - Commercial Vehicle Electronic Clearance (CVEC) - Commercial Vehicle Administrative Processes (CVAP) - Automated Roadside Safety Inspection (ARSI) - Hazardous Material Incident Response Service (HMIR) - On Board Safety Monitoring (OBSM).
