The proposed project consists of the construction of approximately eighteen miles of expressway. It will be a four-lane divided highway with full control of access, grade-separation structures at intersecting roads and highways, and interchanges with major highways. The most important unavoidable adverse environmental effects are displacement of twenty-five to thirty families and five businesses, and noise and visual intrusion on an additional thirty to sixty homes. In addition, land may be required from two golf courses and a wildlife preserve.
