The Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement (KVE), in cooperation with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, will conduct an 18-month pilot program to reduce the number of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) related crashes in Kentucky. Two areas that have a high number of crashes involving trucks and two control areas have been selected for evaluation.
