An experimental maneuverable aerial refueling drogue was designed, fabricated, and flight tested. The drogue was trailed from the wing tip of a CC-137 tanker. Tests were conducted from 200 to 300 KEAS. The drogue exhibited stable trail, and maneuvering commands resulted in drogue displacements similar to predictions. (Author)
