The document is the third volume of a four part final report prepared for the Philippine Ports Authority. The final report documents a study that assessed the validity of developing a modern grain terminal, with bulk handling facilities, at the port of Manila. Volume III discusses all aspects of the present bulk handling facilities at the port of Manila, including vessel operations, tug and barge operations, pilotage and tug assistance and land traffic. The volume also presents the alternative development plans for the Port's bulk handling facilities. Economic analysis and environmental impact assessment of the alternative plans are included in the report. Alternative methods for organizing the operations of the bulk terminal are presented.
