The purpose of this report is to present statistical and analytical data on U. S. General Aviation aircraft accidents involving weather as a cause/related factor during the year 1966. Of the 5,738 total accidents in U. S. General Aviation operations during 1966, 896 involved weather as a cause/related factor.
