The objective of the Advanced ElectroMagnetic (EM) Engineering Technology Task is to build a complete design capability for the electromagnetic topside of Navy ships that can handle the design challenges created by the incorporation of composite materials in the ship's superstructure. During Fiscal Year 1995, NRaD provided verification and validation of computer codes under development by The Ohio State University ElectroScience Laboratory (OSU-ESL). In addition, NRaD applied high performance graphics workstations to provide visualization capabilities for the EM ship design problem.
