The report presents Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation; it contains a summary of the results of 80 case studies of highway crashes; i.e., the accident and injury-causative factors, positive factors and recommendations. All aspects of the transportation system are investigated - the vehicle, the highway, and the human - during each phase of the collision - pre-crash, at-crash, and post-crash. (Author)
