Aircraft tiedown configurations for transport of the MK 426 MOD O Walleye shipping container in centerline and/or noncenterline locations of C-130, C-133, and C-141 aircraft were designed and tested by the Air Force Special Weapons Center. Testing was performed to provide source data for inclusion in cargo aircraft -16-1 Technical Orders. As the result of testing and modifications made to the container, it was ascertained that certain configurations, when modified, will meet the acceptance criteria specified by the Air Force Weapons Laboratory for air transportability. The developed tiedown configurations, test procedures, test data, modifications, notations of test observations, and other pertinent information are presented. (Author)
