The Argentine market for avionics and aviation support equipment is presenting opportunities for foreign suppliers. The immediate need is to replace navigation aids and airport support systems. The U.S. is the leading supplier with approximately 50 percent of the import market. U.S. suppliers should actively promote their products in this market if they are to maintain their share, in the light of strong competition from European suppliers. The total market during 1990 reached 85 million dollars. Between 1991 and 1993 the market is expected to expand at 15 percent annually.
