The equations used in constructing a digital time simulation of the Digital Attitude Reference System (DARS) are presented. The equations include the dynamic and kinematic relationships for a single-body vehicle in an elliptical orbit around the earth. The attitude sensors' measurements are modeled with appropriate error sources. The equations used in the Digital Attitude Reference System are presented. A control law used to control the vehicle's attitude via DARS' estimate of the attitude is included. The equations are programmed in the digital time simulation TIMSIM. (Author)
