The State Peer Reviews for California, Texas and Louisiana were all conducted in a similar manner. Each state was required to complete a comprehensive questionnaire detailing the important aspects of the state's Class II UIC program including (A) permitting and file review; (B) inspections; (C) mechanical integrity testing; (D) compliance and enforcement; (E) plugging and abandonment; (F) inventory and data management; and (G) public outreach. These reports detail the final conclusions of each Review Team as to the effectiveness of the reviewed state's Class II UIC program to protect USDWs from contamination.
