The primary purposes of this flight were to obtain data on the location of the re-entry vehicle impact for the statistical determination of the CEP, to determine re-entry vehicle and missile system compatibility, to evaluate the Inertial Guidance System performance, to evaluate the performance of the Acoustica PU System and to determine the open loop performance of the tank fragmentation system.
