This thesis asks, 'Do Marine Corps' surface tactical mobility requirements for ship to objective maneuver support the Naval operational concept of Operational Maneuver from the Sea (OMFTS)'. The concept of OMFTS discusses a renewed emphasis on amphibious capabilities, littoral warfare, and power projection. Both history and OMFTS emphasize the need for combined arms amphibious forces that make a seamless transition from seaward to landward maneuver. OMFTS professes that the mobility triad of AAAV, MV-22, and LCAC will meet ship to objective maneuver capabilities.
