This report presents the results of an advanced di-silicide coated columbium radiation-cooled engine. The engine was designed for a nominal vacuum thrust level of 500 lbs at 20 psia, and was tested for a total duration of 218 seconds at chamber pressure between 15 psia and 20 psia. The objective of this program was to test the di-silicide, Columbium combination for durability at simulated altitude. (Author)
