A new two dimensional thrust augmenter VTOL model has been designed, built and tested. The model has few moving parts and possibilities for good aerodynamic performance. A complete static test facility capable of supplying 30 psig air through 1.5 square inches nozzle for 2 minutes has been built for testing this model. The test rig can be moved in and out of ground effect by a fork lift. Instrumentation consists of strain gages to measure total lift and thrust.
