An overview of the conceptual study of the moon revolving observation satellites to be launched by the H-2 launch vehicle for lunar surface mapping and resources exploration from a polar orbit at an altitude of 100 km is presented. The results of the mission study, including the studies of mission requirements and mission equipment selection, and mission analysis including analyses on sensor and mission equipment operations, and system study including the studies of system prerequisites, subsystem function allocation, weight and electric power allotment, overall configuration, and sequence of events, and subsystem study are outlined. The outline of satellite-borne equipment, system requirements and prerequisites, satellite weight and power allotment, on-orbit and launching configurations, sequence of events, and the results of the subsystem study are shown.
