The report covers Phase II of an FAA sponsored modification and test of a sixty foot waveguide glide slope antenna to provide Category II performance at problem sites. Compensating elements for sidelobe cancellation were designed, tested, and installed at each end of the sixty foot waveguide antenna. A series of radiation pattern tests under various antenna operating conditions were performed. A flight test program was carried out in an environment relevant to both flat and broken ground and rising terrain in the approach area under conditions of compensation and non-compensation. The design, installation, and test of an aperture monitor system is also described. (Author)
