A summary of the 30th Meeting of the AGARD Propulsion and Energetics Panel held in Munich, Germany on 11-15 September 1967 is presented. The topic of the meeting was 'New Experimental Techniques in Propulsion and Energetics Problems', and the program consisted of sessions on Instrumentation and Shock Tube Measurements, Plasma Flow Measurements, Mass Spectrometry, Projectiles and Miscellaneous Techniques. The highlights of each of the oral presentations are recorded as well as some of the flavor of the discussion which followed each presentation. It is concluded that the questions of diagnostics and of simulation, both of which are relevant to propulsion technology, were well covered and discussed during the meeting. (Author)
