The hydrodynamic basin, renamed aero-hydrodynamic tunnel (AHT) is described together with the new facilities being installed to provide the AHT with a new linear motor platform. Ground effect test results are discussed for Mirage GO1, Mirage 2000 and Falcon 50 models using water surface to simulate ground plane. Comparison with wind tunnel results and additional utilization possibilities are discussed.
