The report constitutes a study of the Lawton Municipal Airport which serves the urbanized area; a history and inventory of the existing facilities; a determination of present inadequacies; a projection of needs to meet the anticipated demands during the next 20 years, including the expected demand for additional clear zone areas; and recommendations for the development and use of the airport land to serve the increasingly important needs of general aviation and industry. The report includes by necessity the elements of population, labor, employment, and related means of transportation, factors which must be weighed in the development of an accurate Master Airport Plan.
