A method of arithmetic data processing for restituting the geographic components of the wind is described. With the aid of the general iterative process, the restitution of the balloon position is calculated using a sequence of interrogations, and localizations. The error in the position of the balloon after restitution is analyzed, and shown to be within 8%.
