The characteristics and constraints connected with power conditioning systems necessary for the operation of three kinds of electric microthrusters are described. The types of microthrusters are: (1) ion thrusters, (2) colloid thrusters, and (3) plasma thrusters. Possible solutions to the stabilization problems and the analysis of the aspects to which particular attention is required are examined. (Author)
