M55A1 Minuteman Operational Quality Assurance Rocket Motor (QA-1205) (0013747) was static tested. Motor ballistic performance was satisfactory throughout action time and all required parameters were within the applicable specification limits. Motor 0013747 was cast from TP-H1011 propellant Standardization Evaluation 707. Motors 0013797 thru 0013820 were accepted by this test. Loaf samples from one of the mixes of TP-H1011 propellant cast into the motor exhibited mechanical properties that were slightly out of specification limits. Investigation indicated that these loaf samples contained portions of propellant that had not cured completely because of inadequate mixing of the curing agent. Applicable corrective action was taken to preclude recurrence.
