The patent application relates to a combination rocket motor ramjet engine having the rocket motor located in the ramjet inlet diffuser. All or part of the rocket portion of the apparatus remaining after rocket booster burnout are ejected by air pressure in the diffuser inlet to permit the diffuser to supply ram air for the ramjet engine.
