Solar System Treks is a NASA interactive browser-based software that provides access to nearly all planetary science data obtained by NASA missions over the past several decades. Accessing this data has previously necessitated individual and specialized queries that were carried out by specialists. This work presents an API that gives those individuals access to new analysis tools to interpret a wide range of data about an arbitrary location for any celestial body in the Trek database, and gives them the ability to extract that data at will to inform mission and instrument design, understand mission risk, and develop more accurate models of the environments available.
