The Swedish sounding rocket program MASER provides periodically recurring flight opportunities for experiments (approximately 1 per year) under microgravity conditions. Conducted by the Swedish Space Corporation MASER is a cost effective, easily accessible experiment facility giving 7 minutes of microgravity. Short campaign periods are guaranteed through the use of guided rockets, and fast land recovery is obtained at the well-equipped Esrange rocket range. The payload is modularized to provide simple interfaces, large flexibility and independence between experiment modules. All service systems which are necessary for telecommunication, payload control, recovery, and maintenance of the required low acceleration levels (10 to the -4g) during the flight are included in the system. Four to six 17 inch experiment modules can be flown totalling a maximum of 230 kg. High speed telemetry and uplink command control of experiments can be provided on request. The price for the flight ticket is derived from the weight of the experiment module and includes all services related to integration and testing of payload, transport in Sweden, launch campaign, data distribution and a final report. If required, the launch program will be increased.
