The principal objective of the project was to evaluate the prototype specification for the preparation of flight manuals and to prepare a final version acceptable to the Navy as an official specification for the preparation of NATOPS Flight Manuals. A second objective was to examine the need for performance data in flight manuals and to determine the most effective methods for presenting this type of information. (Author)
