The report, which is the first of the Coastal Transport Studies, covers national coastal passenger transport between the six main ports of Mozambique. It reviews traffic demand, operations, ports and other infrastructure and presents recommendations on type of vessels, operations and organization of shipping services. The report also includes an assessment of economic and other aspects of coastal passenger transport operations.
