The safety issues discussed in the report include pilot training in recognizing thunderstorm hazards and recovering from unusual attitudes, radar interpretation, and the relaying of complete weather information to pilots by air traffic controllers. Recommendations concerning these issues were made to the Federal Aviation Administration.
