Today's presentation describes how real time space weather data is used by the International Space Station (ISS) space environments team to obtain data on auroral charging of the ISS vehicle and support ISS crew efforts to obtain auroral images from orbit. Topics covered include: (1) Floating Potential Measurement Unit (FPMU); (2) Auroral charging of ISS, (3) Real time space weather monitoring resources, (4) Examples of ISS auroral charging captured from space weather events, ISS crew observations of aurora.
