This report, conducted by Advanced Management Technology, Inc., was funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. The study focused on the capability of Chile to modernize their air traffic control system with the advanced technology of Communications, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management. This is Volume 1 and it consists of the following tasks: (1) World Wide Survey of CNS/ATM Implementation; (2) Assessment of Chilean Infrastructure for CNS/ATM; (3) Systems Requirement Document; (4) Evaluate Current Infrastructure Funding Mechanisms; (5) CNS/ATM Alternative Analysis; (6) Gauging the Environmental Impact; (7) Technology Options and Transition Schedules; (8) Analyzing Financial Options. In addition to the Tasks, the Executive Summary and the Conclusion are also provided.
