A novel bootstrapped CMOS latched driver is presented which improves the switching speed by boosting internal nodes for driving a large capacitive load at low supply voltages. The proposed driver has larger bootstrap voltages than the conventional driver, which further help to increase the speed. Moreover, the on-demand bootstrapping and the transient-overdriving capabilities reduce the power consumption and relieve the gate-oxide stress of the output transistors. The presented results indicate that the proposed driver has a better performance than the conventional bootstrapped CMOS driver in terms of speed and power.
