Considering existing lighting infrastructure, the indoor VLC network can be modeled as a multi-tier network containing different types of access points with different band-widths. In this paper, we investigate the cooperative resource allocation (RA) problem in multi-tier VLC networks based on direct current biased orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM). The sub carriers are reorganized to avoid the interference caused by redundant-information-bearing subcar-riers of DCO-OFDM. To maximize the quality of experience (QoE) satisfaction of user equipments (UEs), a bipartite graph greedy algorithm (BGGA) is proposed by taking into account the quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) and the clipping dis-tortion. Numerical results show that under non-ideal conditions, the proposed RA algorithm outperforms existing graph-based RA algorithms in terms of QoE satisfaction.
