Power devices such as GaN are being used in the modern motor drive systems. Drive systems with high switching frequency power devices can significantly reduce volume, weight., and cost of the system., but they also cause excessive dv/dt and di/dt. In this paper., the sine-wave filter is firstly introduced into the servo system for GaN power device based drive system., then passive damping method and active damping method are introduced to solve resonance problem caused by the sine-wave filter. Finally., suppression effects of two methods are compared., and the analysis is of great significance for future application of GaN power devices based motor-drive system.
