This paper presents a DC-DC converter design that integrates a Switched Inductor Boost Converter (SIBC) with a Voltage Multiplier Cell (VMC). The integration strategy and the resulting gain enhancement at each stage are analyzed. The proposed converter achieves a simplified design by eliminating the need for a common ground between the SIBC and VMC stages. Additionally, operating the SIBC at a lower duty cycle in conjunction with the VMC significantly reduces the voltage stress on the switch. The performance of the Switched Inductor Boost Converter with Voltage Multiplier Cell (SIBC-VMC) is investigated through theoretical analysis. A comparative evaluation between the proposed SIBC-VMC converter, standalone SIBC, VMC, and other single-switch converters is discussed. Finally, the analysis of the proposed converter is facilitated by utilizing a MATLAB/Simulink environment.
