Aim for disadvantages of error measurement in Bearing Corporation, the distributed system for measuring bearing error on-line is achieved. It contains one superior controller and many sub-level computers with connected by controller area network (CAN for short). Sub-level computers are used collected error data and displayed. Superior controller is used error data analysis and database management. At last, superior controller connects with sub-level computers by using the network communication technology and serial communication technology, so an available design of monitoring and controlling system is formed. It is mainly used to examine the quality during the process of producing the parts of bearing. And what's more it also has the quality management function that is based on the statistics and analysis of the examining result. The actual application has shown the usefulness and the practical value of this system.
