Railway passenger transport is an important part of passenger transport system. With the continuous improvement of science and technology, convenient and efficient ticket vending machines have gradually replaced manual ticket sales. The paper analyzed the problems existing in the passenger flow system of Jinan West Railway Station, established the simulation model of the passenger flow system of Jinan West Railway Station with AnyLogic software. Through the analysis of the queuing number, queuing time, service time and other data of manual ticket windows and ticket vending machines under different passenger flow states, the optimal number of two ticketing facilities that should be opened under different passenger flows is obtained. The research conclusion is of great significance to improve the level of organization and management of passenger station and reduce the cost.
