The Yangtze River Estuary Channel is the throat of the Yangtze River golden waterway, which plays an irreplaceable role in the development of the Yangtze River economic belt. With the rapid growth of China's LNG consumption demand and foreign trade import demand, the demand for LNG transportation in the Yangtze River is becoming more and more urgent. At present, the Yangtze River waterway is not suitable for LNG transportation, but it has great potential for LNG transportation in the future. Firstly, this paper analyzes and forecasts the potential LNG water transportation demand and ship flow in the Yangtze River Estuary Channel; secondly, using the simulation modeling technology, it analyzes the impact of different ship flow scenarios on the existing navigation channels such as the 12.5m deep water channel of the Yangtze River Estuary and the south passage channel of the Yangtze River Estuary under the scenario of allowing LNG ships to enter and leave the Yangtze River Estuary Channel; finally, according to the simulation, it proposes to take countermeasures for LNG ships in the Yangtze River Estuary Channel.
