Helicopter is so flexible, that can perform special tasks which can't be completed by other aircraft or vehicle in the low altitude area. But the flight environment is complex in the low altitude area. Terrain, enemy air defense weapons, etc., seriously affect the flight safety. On the basis of the preprocessing of the terrain data in the mission area, the threat object is modeled, and the intelligent algorithm is used to plan the flight route. This method can assist the helicopter to avoid threats and improve the safety of flight. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
