This paper design and implement a real-time object recognition system based on Android mobile devices to assist car drivers for safety driving. It can analyze driving conditions to remind the drivers with related warning notices. The system can identify roads from the camera, and make a warning of abnormal overtake in the limited distances. In addition, the system can identify and judge the wobble of cars when driving, and it could make a warning to the lethargic drivers. The experiments show that the proposed system can identify these abnormal driving behaviors on the road.
