Urban rail transit is an important mode of public transportation in many large and medium-sized cities. The urban rail transit station is a closed space and the passenger flow in the station is often large, once an emergency accident occurs in the station, there may be more serious consequences of casualties, and fire is one of the main types of accidents, so it is necessary to carry out a simulation study of fire accidents in the station. In traditional computer simulation research, the simulation process is usually only carried out from a third-person perspective, with insufficient participation, and the research focus is generally placed on the behavioral characteristics of pedestrians, while ignoring the fineness and realism of the evacuation scenarios, and the evacuation scenarios modeling is also a larger work star. To address the above problems, this study realizes the high realism of pedestrian emergency evacuation simulation based on the widely used Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology and Virtual Reality (VR) technology, and develops a VR emergency evacuation simulation system by integrating the research results. The developed VR system can also play a valuable role in both scientific research and engineering applications.
