In this paper, we study the age of information (AoI) for a sensor network with practical non-linear energy harvesting (NEH) and outdated channel state information (CSI). Specifically, we study a simple relay assisted network model, where the relay system uses amplify and forward (AF) protocol, the energy-limited sensor source harvests energy from the radio frequency (RF) signal of the relay that is connected to fixed energy source. We assume that the channel model follows the Rayleigh fading. Based on these, we drive the end-to-end block error probability, we also give mathematical expressions for the statistical descriptions of the time duration for the sensor fully recharging and the closed-form expression of the average AoI. The numerical results show the influence of parameters of NEH and outdated CSI.
