Ray tracing (RT) is an effective deterministic channel modeling method, but the computational burden for dynamic scenarios is high. To address this issue, this study categorizes objects involved in various types of motion within dynamic scenarios based on their motion characteristics, distinguishing between static and dynamic objects. Subsequently, the subinterval of the optimal split plane suitable for bounding volume hierarchies (BVH) construction is calculated, and the simplified interval BVH algorithm (SIBVH) is applied to the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication scenario. The simulation results indicate that, SIBVH based RT algorithm can trace rays much faster than traditional RT method, and improve computational efficiency significantly. The proposed algorithm can be effectively used in complex high-mobility communication scenarios.
