Discretionary lane changing (DLC) behavior is selective result of the driver's satisfactory extent when driver goes into different lanes. And its course producing demand can be described with Logit theory. Discretionary lane-changing model which is on the basis of the utility is set up by introducing the Logit model, and also it is calibrated with surveying data and close-range photogrammetry theory. Finally, validity of the model is verified with software which is written on the basis of Open GL under the environment of VC.net. Simulating result shows that the model in this text is rational.
