During the operation of EMU, the transient disturbance generated by pantograph catenary system will couple to the bogie, and excessive transient current will bring problems such as abnormal wear of bogies, abnormal damage of sensors installed on bogies, etc. To address this issue, an extended equivalent circuit model of CRH2 EMU aiming at lifting or dropping pantograph is presented in this paper. Firstly, the bogie impedance varying with frequency is studied, and the equivalent circuit model of bogie is obtained. Then, the equivalent circuit model of EMU during lifting or dropping pantograph is established. The characteristic impedance of bogies are considered in the model, and the transient current distribution on different bogies is obtained. Finally, according to the three-dimensional model of bogie, the distribution of surface current on it is obtained by simulation. The above research provide a research method and theoretical basis for judging whether the bogie and sensors installed on it are damaged abnormally by transient disturbance, which ensures the safety of train operation.
