It is important to realize harmonic injection at low switching frequency for torque ripple suppression of permanent magnet synchronous motor. The injection accuracy, however, is a key problem of harmonic injection at low switching frequency. In this paper, a torque ripple minimization voltage harmonic calculation strategy considering harmonic injection accuracy is proposed to handle the problem. The proposed strategy can eliminate the crossing sectors behavior of voltage vector trajectory caused by harmonic injection, which can greatly improve harmonic injection accuracy. After evaluation through simulation, good torque ripple minimization effects are achieved.
