This paper presents the development of a novel language for specifying Operational Design Domains (ODD), offering a significant contribution to the field of safety-critical systems. The language design, which is in harmony with the ISO 34503 standard, is meticulously crafted to augment the precision and composability of system specifications. A thorough examination of the ISO 34503 standard is undertaken, with a particular emphasis on the language requirements for ODD specification. The practicality and advantages of the newly proposed ODD language are substantiated through a variety of case studies, illustrating its application in real-world contexts. The research concludes that the innovative language design markedly enhances the comprehensibility and semantic interpretation of ODDs, thereby facilitating the development of more dependable and robust automated driving systems.
