Governments exerted pressure on automobile manufacturers to improve vehicle security in the 1990s. Cars and lorries were very simple for thieves to take. Electronic systems were added by the manufacturers as a response to make it harder to steal cars without a key. The software can, however, be bypassed, as with other technological systems. In recent years, hackers have taken advantage of technological gaps to facilitate car theft without a key. This paper proposes an original solution to combat this security problem that is becoming more and more common in new car systems. This can be done by introducing the communication through a Global Positioning System (GPS) and more by using the GALILEO satellite, in order to improve the security of such a system. This will solve the issue of so many stolen cars across the globe and will increase also the credibility of potential buyers of a cars which has such a system.
